carrot to remember katome(?) orange – hey any wee songs to learn?? I don’t
mind if they are kiddies songs but it’s more fun to repeat and the
‘experts’ say we learn more easliy with music…

If you want to remember orange think of a carton of oranges :)

This may be a west coast comment, but i don’t find it necessary to
reinforce that green vegetables are yucky. It’s especially sad for those
kids who actually do eat green vegetables and then suddenly find themselves
being enculturated to dislike basic unprocessed foods that sustain them by
their teachers and peers. Also, for anan you could say “come on” like if a
cloud was telling you to follow it.

Brown – Choom sounds like the beginning of the word hummos

    Good video for my daughter

Encourage people to learn, but I wouldn’t encourage them to be a wizard
    (Deuteronomy 18:11, Leviticus 20:27, Deuteronomy 18:10, Psalm 58:5, 2
Chronicles 33:6). Wizardry is a pagan concept, not a Jewish one.

I have a good way to teach brown (choom). Think of a regular old brown owl
sitting in the forest. What noises does the make at night? “Hoo, Hoo”…
now think of a Jewish owl sitting in the forest. Well instead of saying hoo
hoo, Jewish owls say “Choom, Choom”!
