Also there is ื› ‘khahf’ which sounds just like ‘kheht’ but only softer. I used sound recorder in Windows to record myself and play it back to get the difference. It’s not so apparent from ones point of view. ๐Ÿ™‚

ื— is a bit more forced where ื› isn’t quite so apparent. At least that’s what I’ve been taught.

I’m taking a course through someone that was reared in Israel, came to the US and learned English as her 6th language.

In the commercial, why does the text say Edna is from California, USA. But then she herself says her daughter can come to New York?

    Did she move? ๐Ÿ™‚

You could start by learning English first and spell “beatiful” correctly, the043 (*_~)

First, you need to learn the alphabet.. I recommend by an Israeli (Because there are many videos here by guys from US who say things wrong…). Of course, after you learn the alphabet, you need to learn to say the letters correctly (try saying ื— ‘het’, there ain’t such a letter in english , and it’s very difficult for americans to say that).
After you finish with the letters, start learning the vowelizations (divide them into 2 groups and stuff).. Learn some vucabulary and the conjugations

    it must cost a lot…

Definitely start with the letters and the vowel system (the dots)… get some kind of course… a book or a program or something. Try to diversify your learning tools… like, don’t just depend on one course to teach you. Use different methods. Keep on watching these Hebrew videos! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a quaestion . If someone wishes to learn to read, write, and speak Hebrew, Where should one focus on first? Learning the alphabet, pronouncing the letters? Where to start?

why do you mix things? I am a spaniard and I want to learn Hebrew, thatยดs all. All your comments about politics, religios and personal opinions… please go to another place. Hier is a place to get inforamtion about a hebrew course and not a place to say stupid things. Please those who tell such silly things just go away to a nazi meeting or to the hell and leave this place in peace, Thank you

Arabic & Hebrew are among other languages in the Semitic Family Language thus why an Arab is also considered a Semite, other than a Jew. The origin of those two languages is self-explanatory.
