I see several comments on this page that I would love to respond to. The
problem is that I never learned how to reply now that Google has taken over
You Tube. If anyone out there can help me with this issue, I will be ever
so grateful!
I didn’t know they had characters with religious inclination. Baby bear is
jewish, and he’s coming from a long line of jewish bears. I wonder if the
Bear Jew in inglourious basterds is a relative of theirs? I also wonder if
there is any muslim muppet in Sesame Street? Maybe Grover? Is Big Bird from
the church of Scientology? Are they slightly pushing it by injecting
religion in this great show? What’s next? Political views! Elmo can be a
communist and Cookie Monster a neo-conservatist!
I was born in ’71. It seemed like back then everybody respected each others
religious beliefs. Now, in our “highly advanced” 21st century, even on
something as simple and innocent as a Sesame Street video, there’s a lot of
hate going on at the mere mention of… really, any kind of religion. Man,
if this is the future, send me back to the ’70s.
Germanic Jews are known as Askenazic Jews. These are Jews who settled along
the Rhine. Yiddish is based on German. I am a descent of Askenazic and
Sephardic Jews (Spanish Jews from Castile). Sephardic Jews speak Ladino
which is a combination of Hebrew, Old Spanish and some Portuguese. This
changed during the Spanish Inquisition circa 1492.
Nellie, hun, please go and do your homework, as this song has been around
for “CENTURIES” Sesame Street just adapted it to those who celebrate this
particular holiday with their small children
Since 2002, when they decided to make a more politically correct holiday
special for Elmo’s World. It was also then and there when Gordon, Susan,
and Miles started celebrating Kwanzaa.

Or have Telly say, “Bears…play stupid games. Bears, that’s why they’re
lame!”
Since when has Baby Bear been Jewish?
No, it still wish. (or a VCR/DVD play that can burn tapes to DVD and then
rip stuff from it). I got this the same way I get season 39.
Can you upload the whole special? I want to watch it this christmas! 😀
No, they probably made up this song for Sesame Street
nott really gold?! Where is that bear hiding all his jew gold dammit!
I’d have loved it if Elmo ended it with an “Oy vey!” But I guess that’s
being rude.

Admit it; when they’re singing all you can think of is Cartman from South
Patk saying, “Jews, play stupid games. Jews, that’s why they’re lame!”
I’m Catholic, myself.
